Born on the 21st of February year 1979, in Waco Texas, she grew up in Nolan Ville where at a young age, she showed great love for music which had her sing “The Greatest Love of All” at a livestock show at age 3. She moved to Los Angeles after being told to do so by talent scouts who saw potential in her youthful glow and talent. Her break into he film industry came when she was cast as an actress in the Disney Channel show Kids Incorporated. She also came out with ‘Dance! Workout with Barbie which was under Buena Vista Entertainment. Her career started out more on the television scene with her having several commercials and shows under her belt. One of her most memorable movies which is accredited of shooting her up on the scale of actresses to look out for in Hollywood is the horror film ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ which got 125 million dollars in sales worldwide making her one of the hottest young starts which she hardened with the follow-up movie ‘I Still Know What You Did Last Summer’. She became the spokesperson for Nokia in 2000 but she never lost her love for music. She wrote the song, ‘I’m Gonna Love You’ from the movie ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame 2′where her voice was used for one of the characters.

Some people are just so huge at what they do that they not only do extremely well in their field, they make everyone else doing the similar thing – even experts – seem like amateurs by comparison. Just like Michael Jordan do extremely well in the field of basketball, just like Denzel Washington is one of America’s greatest actors, just like Maya Angelou is an incredible poet, Alicia Keys is tops at what she does. And most other singers, even those who are above average, pale in comparison. Evidence of this is inherent throughout Alicia’s third studio album, As I Am, which is probably the most powerful R&B release of 2007.
In every note she sings in her songs and in every note she plays on her piano, you can feel Alicia Keys. She sings with a purity and conviction that others can only dream about. Exhibit A: the album’s first single, the surprise radio hit “No One.”

Yup, she’s the 2 Fast 2 Furious gal, alright. At the age of 14, she juggled modeling and school, thus at a young age, she has a list of high-profile designers on her resume like Chanel, Thierry Mugler, Balenciaga, Fendi, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Givenchy. But it’s no wonder that looks like a goddess: her father is the Japanese Olympic wrestler and Benihana steakhouse magnate Rocky Aoki. Her mother is an Anglo-Bavarian jewelry designer Pamela Hilburger. With such a mix of genes, her uniqueness as a model made her stand out. And not only that; she’s an actress too and we have seen her in several movies such as Dead or Alive, D.E.B.S, Sin City and the movie 2 Fast 2 Furious. And it’s sure that there’s no stopping this girl: she’s having plans for an album, joined L.A.’s ICM and The Firm, and launching her own clothing line.
