Penelope Cruz
She was born on the 28th of April, 1974 in Madrid Spain to Eduardo and Encarna Cruz, the ‘Spanish Enchantress’ studied classical ballet for nine years till she took up the calling of her true love, acting at the age of 15. She was voted one of the sexiest women in Hollywood in 2002 by the Australian Empire Magazine and continues to lure many to see her beauty and charm in her films. Starting her film career in 1993 with a Spanish Movie, she entered the Hollywood scene when she starred besides Timothy Dalton in the thriller movie ‘Framed’. She is an avid supporter of charities and has volunteered for two years in Uganda. She is credited of initiating the NGO Sabera Foundation together with her fellow Spanish entertainers which sadly collapsed due to differences in views of their members. She is known for her habit of adopting stray cats and can speak and understand four languages namely; Spanish, English, Italian and French. One of the only two Oscar nominated Spanish entertainers, and she has her own clothing line she put together with her sister Monica.
